SK Security is a privately owned and operated security company in Kansas City. SK Security serves over 30+ clients in the KC Metro and surrounding areas.
Sidney Kile started SK Security in 2018, after having interest in joining the police department. Sidney realized that there was a need for security in many areas. SK Security's first client was an HOA that was having issues with burglaries in the neighborhood. Word soon spread and he gained a contract with a real estate company that owned a business park in the heart of Kansas City. With the contracts growing, that meant the business had to grow too. SK Security is now available for franchise and operates in Kansas, Missouri and Nevada. SK Security's officers all go through an extensive hiring process to ensure they will make a good asset to the team. This starts with a general interview and drug screening, then they are sent on a ride along with a supervisor to get an idea of how we operate, they then go apply for a security license through the KCPD Commissioning Board, and then they are on the schedule to begin their training. SK Security employs armed and unarmed security guards. In order for the officer to be armed, they partake in a 4 hour training class with a firearms instructor, then they go to range with the KCPD Commissioning Board to test. |
